Who We Are
The Westernport Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. represents the interests of over 150 businesses, in the High Street, Hastings’ shopping precinct.
Run by a volunteer committee made up of representatives from these local businesses, the Chamber works to promote, support, develop and advocate on behalf of local traders.

Business Promotion
The Chamber organise and coordinate a range of promotional activities and marketing initiatives which all members have the opportunity of participating in.
From targeted, local campaigns to whole town events, the Chamber works with and on behalf of members to assist with building brand presence within the local community.
Input from traders is always welcome. If you have specific ideas for promotions, please contact us, we’d love to hear from you.
Business Development
Regular business development opportunities are provided by the Chamber to support our members, including workshops, training sessions, mentoring and networking opportunities. All members are encouraged to participate and make the most of the business development opportunities on offer.
Members also have access to a range of resources including webinars, online training, business templates and articles, accessible via the secure Members Login Page.
If you have a particular business development need that you would like assistance with, or if you are able to offer information, training or support to other members, please contact us.
Representation & advocacy
A core role of the Chamber is representation and advocacy on behalf of our members. We work closely with local and state government, community groups, industry and other key stakeholders to ensure our members are proactively represented and their collective voice heard as part of decision making on any matters that affect our community

Membership is open to all traders in the Hastings High Street precinct and adjoining area, as part of the Special Charge Scheme. Other interested local businesses are welcome to apply for General Membership.
All businesses, even those within the Special Charge Scheme area, must complete a membership form.
General Membership requests will be considered by the committee and applicants contacted promptly regarding their application. Rules do apply and successful applications are subject to authorisation by the WCCII committee. Please note an annual fee also applies to all General Members.
